Mountain Biking
Introduction to Mountain Biking: ½ or full day course.
If you are new to Mountain Biking and looking to get a good solid baseline of skills and techniques for riding the trails then this is your course!
Our Introduction to Mountain Biking courses are designed for those new to the sport, have a maximum of 6 people on each course and are run at a relaxed pace to ensure you get the most from the course.
On the course we will be looking at trail side bike maintenance, setting up your bike, developing a stable position, braking, cornering and keeping the flow on the trails.
You will need:
- A mountain bike
- A helmet
- A pair of gloves
- Outdoor footwear and clothing
- Snacks, drinks and lunch as required
- A level of fitness to ride for the ½ day or full day duration (contact us if you need more information)
- Any medication required
All our courses are run at either Tentsmuir Forest, Lochore Meadows Country Park, Pitmedden Forest or local NE Fife trails.
